With the support of more than 30,000 team members, we promote a forward-thinking philosophy that's built on a foundation of trust, dignity, respect, responsibility, and clinical excellence. **Positions details:** + Location- Winter Haven Hospital + **Status:** Full time, Salary + **Shift:** Varies with daily duties + Weekends- occasional + **On Call:** no + On Site The **Nursing Professional Development Practitioner** assesses, develops, implements, and leads educational activities designed to grow, maintain, and improve the professional competence of clinical Team Members, creates and oversees assigned clinical programs by completing needs assessments. + Employs evidence-based practice in educational methodologies and clinical practice. + Assists in clinical orientation of new Team Members, provides ongoing consultation on educational requirements and existing resources to direct care Team Members + Actively participates in the quality improvement process, acts as a positive agent of change and communication. + Guides other disciplines in applying principles of evidence-based care to their educational needs. + Provides virtual education and support to bedside RN's in Critical Care units throughout BayCare + Performs appropriate RN functions and other duties when assigned. Follows the Association for Nursing Professional Development (ANPD) Scope and Standards of Practice. + This role would be for the Central Education team for our Polk region hospitals with oversight of the PCT EAYL Program + Occasional travel to Bartow Regional Medical Center ( Bartow), South Florida Baptist Hospital ( Plant City), and BayCare Hospital Wesely Chapel ( Wesley Chapel) **Requirements:** + Registered Nurse license is required + BLS certification is required + BSN with 3 years of Clinical Experience OR bachelor's in healthcare Related Field with 4 years of Nursing Education is required _Equal Opportunity Employer Veterans/Disabled_ **Position** Clinical Nurse Educator- Central Education Team **Location** Winter Haven:Winter Haven | Nursing | Full Time **Req ID** 124510
