The Opportunity
The iconic and celebrated boutique luxury hotel Wythe Hotel is looking for a dynamic Corporate
Event Sales Director to join their expanding team. The role will be responsible for driving corporate events revenue alongside a team of dedicated sales professionals, supported by an experienced production staff and the excellent culinary team from Le Crocodile and Bar Blondeau. With truly unique event spaces and assisted by an exceptionally detailed and collaborative F&B team, a successful candidate will architect memorable experiences that grow lasting relationships with clients, and reflect our commitment to world class, high touch, personable hospitality.

What You'll Do
Strategic Business Development
● Cultivate relationships with innovative companies that align with our neighborhood and values
● Continue to position Wythe as the first choice for corporate gatherings that require both substance and style
● Identify and pursue partnerships with Brooklyn' tech, creative, and cultural sectors
● Develop deep understanding of each client's culture to create perfectly tailored proposals
● Work with the Director of Commercial Strategy to develop and implement a sales strategy to maximize corporate event revenue.
● Lead proactive sales efforts including prospecting, site visits, outside sales calls and client presentations.
Sales Excellence
● Manage the full sales cycle with grace and precision
● Conduct property tours that feel more personal and cultural experiences
● Craft proposals that share our story with prospective clients
● Consistently achieve revenue targets while maintaining our standards of discretion
● Convert inquiries into lasting partnerships with an intuitive understanding of client needs
Cultural Ambassador
● Represent the Wythe's position in Brooklyn's cultural landscape
● Connect clients with our network of artists, makers, and cultural institutions
● Understand the evolving needs of innovative companies
● Contribute to our reputation as tastemakers in experiential hospitality

Experience & Skills Required:
● Proven track record of meeting revenue targets in competitive markets
● Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
● Proficiency with sales and prospecting systems and analytics
● Bachelor' degree or equivalent experience
● 5-7+ years of luxury hotel or high-end event sales experience with at least 2 years in a leadership position
Valued:
● Existing relationships within New York's corporate community
● Experience with cultural institutions or creative industries
● Understanding of Brooklyn's business landscape
● Multilingual capabilities

● Base salary commensurate with experience ($160,000-$190,000 plus commission)
