Job Description

Description We are looking for a skilled and dependable Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team in Carrollton, Texas. This contract-to-permanent position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a growing organization while advancing your career. The role begins with an on-site schedule for the first few months, transitioning to a hybrid arrangement that includes remote work on Fridays. Responsibilities: - Manage Accounts Payable (AP) processes, including reconciling transactions and maintaining accurate records. - Oversee Accounts Receivable (AR), ensuring timely payments, accurate invoicing, and effective collections. - Process and enter invoices with precision, adhering to established procedures. - Organize and maintain financial documents, such as receipts and supporting records, for easy access and compliance. - Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure account accuracy and resolve discrepancies. - Collaborate in transitioning the company's accounting software from QuickBooks to Sage, supporting implementation and process changes. - Assist with monthly financial reporting and provide insights to support decision-making. - Handle day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, ensuring smooth operations and adherence to deadlines. - Communicate effectively with team members to address financial queries and maintain transparency. Requirements - Proven experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role. - Proficiency in QuickBooks; familiarity with Sage or willingness to learn is highly desirable. - Strong knowledge of AP and AR functions, including collections. - Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail to manage multiple tasks efficiently. - Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the team. - Strong communication skills to present financial information clearly and professionally. - Commitment to an on-site schedule initially, transitioning to a hybrid model after a few months. - Experience with financial software and reporting tools to support accurate bookkeeping.
