Our challenge

We are seeking a skilled .NET Developer to join our team to support and enhance our applications amidst a critical migration project to a new data center. The ideal candidate will contribute to application and database migration, vulnerability remediation, application improvements, addressing technical debt, and handling incident support. This role requires a solid understanding of .NET frameworks and related technologies, along with a proactive approach to problem-solving and system enhancements.

Additional Information*

The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Charlotte, NC is $95k - $105k/year & benefits (see below).

The Role

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the migration of existing applications and databases to a new data center environment.
  • Remediate vulnerabilities across applications and infrastructure to ensure security and compliance.
  • Develop, enhance, and optimize applications based on evolving requirements.
  • Address and resolve technical debt to improve system performance and maintainability.
  • Respond to and troubleshoot incidents, ensuring minimal downtime.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
  • Follow and promote basic design principles to ensure scalable and maintainable code.

Requirements:

  • Strong experience with .NET Framework and .NET Core for application development.
  • Proficiency with SQL Server and Oracle databases.
  • Knowledge of Teradata is a plus.
  • Experience developing and consuming REST APIs.
  • Version control expertise with GitHub.
  • Familiarity with deployment and CI/CD tools like Harness.
  • Experience working with TFS (Team Foundation Server).
  • Strong programming skills in C# and JavaScript.
  • Understanding of Basic Design Principles for software development.
  • Experience with vulnerability remediation and security best practices.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities.

Preferred, but not required:

  • Experience with data migration projects.
  • Knowledge of cloud environments and virtualization.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities.
