Job Title: Machine Operator

Location: Piscataway, NJ.

Shift: 2nd shift | 2 pm–10:30 pm (Training for first 3 weeks on 1st shift – 6 am–2:30 pm)

Pay Rate: $23/hr

Type: Temp-to-Hire

Position Summary

The Machine Operator will set up, operate, and monitor carton-forming and packaging equipment to support efficient production in a fast-growing food manufacturing company. Responsibilities include performing changeovers, making machine adjustments, completing basic preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting minor issues. The operator will maintain a clean, safe work area, follow cGMP standards, and communicate with team members to ensure quality output and minimal downtime. This temp-to-hire role offers paid training, requires 1+ years of machine operation experience, and prefers bilingual English-Spanish candidates.

Responsibilities

· Set up, operate, and monitor box forming/cartoner equipment

· Perform periodic checks and resolve machine issues

· Complete format and product changeovers

· Assist with troubleshooting and basic preventative maintenance

· Follow SOPs, standardized work, and cGMP requirements

Qualifications

· 1+ year experience operating production/packaging machinery in a high-speed environment

· High School Diploma or equivalent

· Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently

· Basic computer and math skills

· Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
