My client, a global publicly traded consumer products company is looking for an experienced Senior Financial Analyst to join their FP&A team in the Somerville, New Jersey area and offers a hybrid schedule. This role will focus on financial planning and analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, and preparing financial reports for senior leadership. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate across global finance teams.
Responsibilities:
• Compile and review monthly financial reporting packages for senior management, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
• Develop quarterly cash flow forecasts and contribute to the preparation of quarterly earnings reports.
• Create and refine presentations for senior leadership and the Board of Directors, showcasing key financial insights.
• Coordinate semi-annual budgeting processes, including analysis and consolidation of financial data.
• Conduct thorough reviews of divisional and consolidated financial results, collaborating with global finance teams to ensure data integrity.
• Respond to ad hoc requests from senior management with detailed financial analyses and insights.
• Support special projects, providing analytical expertise and financial modeling as needed.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial analysis, planning, and reporting.
• Proficiency in Oracle Hyperion Essbase and SAP systems.
• Strong understanding of cash flow forecasting and financial modeling techniques.
• Demonstrated ability to manage forecasting activities and deliver accurate results.
• Experience preparing presentations and reports for executive-level audiences.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively with global finance teams and adapt to a dynamic work environment.
