  • Compile monthly income statements and verify supporting documents for accuracy.
  • Review monthly financial results and investigate any variances from historical trends or operational reports.
  • Maintain organized work papers that clearly reflect balance sheet activity and include all necessary documentation.
  • Provide timely and accurate accounting support to our Operations team.
  • Manage vendor payments (utilities, rent, beverage suppliers, etc.) to ensure they’re processed on time.
  • Keep departmental spreadsheets up to date with current financial data.
  • Communicate regularly with the Accounting Manager and Operations team about any issues at specific restaurant locations.
  • Pitch in on special projects, offering financial insights and administrative support as needed.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred.
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Experience preparing manual journal entries as part of the monthly close process.
  • 1–2 years of relevant accounting experience (internships count!). Experience in multi-unit or restaurant accounting is a plus.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems like Oracle, SAP, or NetSuite.
  • Strong communication skills—you know how to explain financial info clearly.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and juggle multiple tasks.
  • A team player who builds positive relationships and listens actively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
  • Must pass an Accounting Proficiency Assessment.

    • Opportunities for advancement
    • Positive and respectful work environment where diversity is valued
    • Generous employee discounts on dining, retail, amusements, and hotels
    • Community volunteer opportunities
