Description We are looking for a skilled Tax Preparer to join our team in Louisville, Kentucky. Responsibilities: - Prepare and review individual tax returns with accuracy and efficiency. - Ensure compliance with tax regulations and guidelines during the preparation process. - Utilize Lacerte Tax Software to complete tax filings and related tasks. - Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns about their tax returns. - Maintain organized and secure records of all tax documents and related information. - Collaborate with team members to meet deadlines and improve processes. - Stay updated on the latest tax laws and regulations to ensure accurate filings. - Assist clients in identifying potential deductions and credits to optimize their tax outcomes. - Conduct thorough reviews of completed tax returns to ensure accuracy and compliance. - Support the team with additional tax-related tasks as needed. Requirements - Proven experience in preparing individual tax returns. - Strong knowledge of tax regulations and compliance standards. - Proficiency in using Lacerte Tax Software or similar systems. - Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. - Ability to work effectively under deadlines and manage multiple tasks. - Strong communication skills for interacting with clients and team members. - Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and security of sensitive information. - A meticulous approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
